The
story so far...
Wolf
Clothing is a South African gothic fashion label for an exclusive range
of custom made clothing and accessories. Specializing in corsetry and
gothic couture. Currently based in Observatory, Cape Town, Wolf Clothing
has been serving the Capetonian Gothic Community as well as others further
afield for the last decade (including stranger types... art directors,
matriculants' and brides).
Wolf Clothing formed near the end of the last century. The creative
brainchild of Mark and Helna, they began working on a commission basis.
They then opened a stall on Cape Town's Green Market Square in partnership
with Angelique and her own gothic design label, 'Nightshade'.
Years Passed...
Nightshade left for London. Wolf Clothing remained and endured
the cold winters on the open market, narrow minded tourists, and several
cross country road trips to central Gauteng to trade. Their customer
base grew and the fame of the label spread.
In 2005 Wolf Clothing began trading at 'The One Ring' (a nightclub
after sunset) in Observatory, Cape Town. Off the market at last!
That same year, the designer duo moved again... This time into their
first real shop, (shared with Subterania Music owned by Dave
Sass) where they remain to this day.
Besides the stunning quality of the products they produce, Wolf Clothing
has always been firm supporters of the various local subculture scenes,
contributing wherever possible. Over the many years Mark and Helna have
hosted fashion shows, worked with or part sponsored many bands and musicians,
(see listed below) and sit as executive members of the Underworld
Events organizing committee. ('Underworld' hosts the largest
gothic community gatherings in Cape Town, and is a must on your calendar!)

of happy customers they have had the pleasure of serving over the years.
Commitment to delivering outstanding products and excellent service
would not be possible without their continued support.
When Wolf Clothing is not hard at work, (packing out and cleaning up
included!) they share a warm home together in the old suburb of Observatory.
To
be continued...
